Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, the North Carolina Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population was 1,004,568; and represented 20.56% of the total North Carolina male population in 2015.

Mecklenburg County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (146,467), followed by Wake County (95,360), and Guilford County (79,098).

On the other hand, Graham County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (22), followed by Mitchell County (42), and Clay County (49).
