Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, the North Carolina Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population was 952,303; and represented 20.39% of the total North Carolina male population in 2010.

Mecklenburg County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (128,029), followed by Wake County (84,804), and Guilford County (72,442).

On the other hand, Graham County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (13), followed by Mitchell County (33), and Clay County (37).
