According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2015, the number of deaths for Alaska was 4,337. Anchorage had the highest number of deaths (1,686), followed by Matanuska-Susitna (584), and Fairbanks North Star (493). On the other hand, Yakutat had the lowest number of deaths (4), followed by Skagway (4), and Bristol Bay (6).
