According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, the number of deaths for Alaska was 5,642. Anchorage had the highest number of deaths (2,106), followed by Matanuska-Susitna (876), and Fairbanks North Star (616). On the other hand, Yakutat had the lowest number of deaths (2), followed by Bristol Bay (4), and Skagway (6).
