Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, the Kentucky Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population was 179,577; and represented 8.18% of the total Kentucky male population in 2017.

Jefferson County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (77,417), followed by Fayette County (23,325), and Christian County (7,679).

On the other hand, Robertson County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (4), followed by Owsley County (11), and Wolfe County (14).
