According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, the net domestic migration for Virginia was 5,284. Chesterfield County had the highest net domestic migration (2,096) followed by Suffolk city (1,608), and Frederick County (1,588). On the other hand, Fairfax County had the lowest net domestic migration (-8,323), followed by Prince William County (-3,563), and Norfolk city (-2,550).
