United States Net Domestic Migration By State in 2024

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, Texas had the highest net domestic migration (85,267), followed by North Carolina (82,288), and South Carolina (68,043). On the other hand, California had the lowest net domestic migration -239,575, followed by New York (-120,917), and Illinois (-56,235).
