Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, among all North Carolina counties, Wake County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Asian (7.95%), followed by Orange County (7.83%), and Mecklenburg County (6.39%).
