According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, the net domestic migration for Michigan was -7,656. Macomb County had the highest net domestic migration (1,588) followed by Ottawa County (1,113), and Muskegon County (841). On the other hand, Wayne County had the lowest net domestic migration (-9,570), followed by Oakland County (-4,432), and Washtenaw County (-3,718).
