According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net domestic migration for Michigan was -17,446. Ottawa County had the highest net domestic migration (1,340) followed by Muskegon County (975), and Montcalm County (897). On the other hand, Wayne County had the lowest net domestic migration (-15,430), followed by Oakland County (-9,302), and Washtenaw County (-3,693).
