Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, the Tennessee Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population was 605,432; and represented 16.67% of the total Tennessee female population in 2023.

Shelby County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population (264,170), followed by Davidson County (97,624), and Hamilton County (36,635).

On the other hand, Pickett County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population (8), followed by Scott County (27), and Hancock County (28).
