Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, the Tennessee Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population was 598,681; and represented 17.25% of the total Tennessee female population in 2018.

Shelby County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population (271,478), followed by Davidson County (101,212), and Hamilton County (37,703).

On the other hand, Pickett County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone female population (6), followed by Hancock County (15), and Scott County (20).
