Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, the Tennessee Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population was 522,913; and represented 16.26% of the total Tennessee male population in 2015.

Shelby County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (230,994), followed by Davidson County (86,142), and Hamilton County (31,706).

On the other hand, Pickett County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (3), followed by Hancock County (15), and Scott County (19).
