Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, the Illinois Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population was 858,513; and represented 13.57% of the total Illinois male population in 2014.

Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (565,259), followed by Will County (38,118), and St. Clair County (36,772).

On the other hand, Calhoun County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (8), followed by Scott County (11), and Hardin County (12).
