According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2019, the number of deaths for Illinois was 109,472. Cook had the highest number of deaths (42,167), followed by DuPage (6,664), and Lake (4,833). On the other hand, Pope had the lowest number of deaths (37), followed by Scott (51), and Hardin (53).
