According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, the number of deaths for Illinois was 114,343. Cook had the highest number of deaths (41,953), followed by DuPage (6,736), and Will (5,110). On the other hand, Brown had the lowest number of deaths (39), followed by Scott (47), and Putnam (51).
