Based on data from the CDC, the overall number of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Methamphetamine in the US in 2024 was 18,523, and the age adjusted rate per 100,000 persons was 8.5. These overall values was based on data from 43 jurisdictions (i.e. states and DC).

Among all states with data, Washington had the highest number of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Methamphetamine (1,862), followed by Arizona (1,725), Tennessee (1,033), and Oregon (947).

In terms of the age-adjusted rate of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Methamphetamine per 100K persons, Alaska had the highest (27.8), followed by Nevada (27.2), and West Virginia (26.6).
