Based on data from the CDC, the overall number of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Methamphetamine in the US in 2022 was 17,202, and the age adjusted rate per 100,000 persons was 10.5. These overall values was based on data from 35 jurisdictions (i.e. states and DC).

Among all states with data, Tennessee had the highest number of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Methamphetamine (1,570), followed by Ohio (1,414), Arizona (1,397), and North Carolina (1,218).

In terms of the age-adjusted rate of fatal drug overdose deaths involving Methamphetamine per 100K persons, West Virginia had the highest (45.8), followed by Kentucky (24.9), and New Mexico (23.9).
