Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, among all South Carolina counties, Allendale County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (71.76%), followed by Williamsburg County (62.79%), and Lee County (61.7%).
