Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, among all South Carolina counties, Allendale County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (73.41%), followed by Williamsburg County (64.72%), and Lee County (63.49%).
