According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, the net domestic migration for North Dakota was -291. Williams County had the highest net domestic migration (794) followed by Burleigh County (571), and McKenzie County (334). On the other hand, Ward County had the lowest net domestic migration (-725), followed by Cass County (-551), and Grand Forks County (-375).
