According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2021, the net domestic migration for North Dakota was -3,966. Cass County had the highest net domestic migration (3,219) followed by Burleigh County (525), and Morton County (198). On the other hand, Williams County had the lowest net domestic migration (-2,973), followed by Grand Forks County (-1,108), and McKenzie County (-1,007).
