According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net domestic migration for North Dakota was -2,667. Cass County had the highest net domestic migration (1,686) followed by Burleigh County (318), and Morton County (105). On the other hand, Ward County had the lowest net domestic migration (-1,130), followed by Williams County (-1,005), and Grand Forks County (-953).
