According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net domestic migration for North Carolina was 99,380. Brunswick County had the highest net domestic migration (8,356) followed by Wake County (7,934), and Johnston County (6,198). On the other hand, Cumberland County had the lowest net domestic migration (-3,781), followed by Halifax County (-394), and Durham County (-322).
