According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2015, the net domestic migration for North Carolina was 44,814. Wake County had the highest net domestic migration (13,241) followed by Mecklenburg County (9,330), and Brunswick County (4,070). On the other hand, Cumberland County had the lowest net domestic migration (-5,952), followed by Onslow County (-3,457), and Craven County (-1,998).
