Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, the Michigan Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population was 655,271; and represented 13.43% of the total Michigan male population in 2014.

Wayne County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (319,272), followed by Oakland County (78,172), and Macomb County (42,102).

On the other hand, Keweenaw County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (3), followed by Ontonagon County (8), and Alcona County (9).
