Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, the Michigan Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population was 655,862; and represented 13.47% of the total Michigan male population in 2013.

Wayne County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (323,126), followed by Oakland County (77,573), and Macomb County (40,208).

On the other hand, Keweenaw County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (3), followed by Alcona County (8), and Ontonagon County (9).
