Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, the Michigan Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population was 657,665; and represented 13.56% of the total Michigan male population in 2011.

Wayne County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (333,647), followed by Oakland County (75,230), and Genesee County (40,455).

On the other hand, Keweenaw County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (3), followed by Alcona County (5), and Ontonagon County (6).
