Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, among all Virginia counties, Petersburg city had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (77.11%), followed by Emporia city (63.15%), and Greensville County (59.04%).
