Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, among all Missouri counties, St. Louis city had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (46.18%), followed by Pemiscot County (26.51%), and Mississippi County (24.72%).
