According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2012, the net domestic migration for New Jersey was -46,113. Ocean County had the highest net domestic migration (83) followed by Cape May County (-122), and Salem County (-490). On the other hand, Essex County had the lowest net domestic migration (-8,690), followed by Hudson County (-5,697), and Passaic County (-5,398).
