According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2024, the net domestic migration for Montana was 5,410. Flathead County had the highest net domestic migration (837) followed by Missoula County (625), and Yellowstone County (613). On the other hand, Roosevelt County had the lowest net domestic migration (-164), followed by Hill County (-123), and Richland County (-89).
