According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net domestic migration for Montana was 9,110. Flathead County had the highest net domestic migration (1,594) followed by Lewis and Clark County (1,146), and Yellowstone County (748). On the other hand, Roosevelt County had the lowest net domestic migration (-186), followed by Cascade County (-165), and Richland County (-116).
