According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net domestic migration for Massachusetts was -54,843. Barnstable County had the highest net domestic migration (859) followed by Franklin County (156), and Berkshire County (-128). On the other hand, Middlesex County had the lowest net domestic migration (-18,159), followed by Suffolk County (-17,635), and Essex County (-6,744).
