Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, the Ohio Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population was 671,410; and represented 11.89% of the total Ohio male population in 2012.

Cuyahoga County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (169,606), followed by Franklin County (121,485), and Hamilton County (94,752).

On the other hand, Vinton County had the lowest Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone male population (26), followed by Monroe County (38), and Wyandot County (44).
