Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, among all US states and DC, North Dakota had the highest net domestic migration rate (21.22), followed by District of Columbia (9.28), and Colorado (6.81).

On the other hand, New York had the lowest net domestic migration rate (-5.74) followed by New Jersey (-5.38), and Illinois (-5.28).
