Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest net domestic migration rate (12.58), followed by North Dakota (9.31), and Colorado (5.33).

On the other hand, Rhode Island had the lowest net domestic migration rate (-5.7) followed by Illinois (-5.02), and New Jersey (-4.66).
