Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, among all Iowa counties, Black Hawk County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (9.54%), followed by Scott County (7.49%), and Johnson County (7.43%).
