Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, among all Indiana counties, Marion County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (27.87%), followed by Lake County (23.8%), and St. Joseph County (12.92%).
