Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, among all New Mexico counties, McKinley County had the highest percentage of its population who identified their ethnicity as Non-Hispanic American Indian and Alaska Native (73.99%), followed by Cibola County (39.33%), and San Juan County (37.65%).
