According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2021, the net migration for Mississippi was -5,170. DeSoto County had the highest net migration (2,509) followed by Lafayette County (1,834), and Jackson County (1,214). On the other hand, Hinds County had the lowest net migration (-4,424), followed by Yazoo County (-1,330), and Warren County (-863).
