According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2019, the net migration for Mississippi was -9,707. DeSoto County had the highest net migration (2,322) followed by Harrison County (1,037), and Rankin County (572). On the other hand, Hinds County had the lowest net migration (-4,762), followed by Washington County (-1,102), and Sunflower County (-1,065).
