According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net international migration for New Mexico was 9,904. Bernalillo County had the highest net international migration (3,213) followed by Lea County (1,378), and Doña Ana County (1,368). On the other hand, Quay County had the lowest net international migration (-1), followed by Catron County (-1), and Union County (0).
