According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net international migration for New Mexico was 5,702. Bernalillo County had the highest net international migration (2,463) followed by Doña Ana County (613), and Santa Fe County (530). On the other hand, Roosevelt County had the lowest net international migration (-13), followed by Lincoln County (-9), and Sierra County (-2).

Net International migration for a given county refers to the difference between the number of people moving to the county from other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States (50 states and District of Columbia) and the number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the world outside the borders of the United States.
