According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2023, the net domestic migration for West Virginia was 3,296. Berkeley County had the highest net domestic migration (2,741) followed by Jefferson County (684), and Morgan County (321). On the other hand, Kanawha County had the lowest net domestic migration (-446), followed by Mingo County (-238), and Mercer County (-193).
