Washington Net Domestic Migration By County in 2019

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2019, the net domestic migration for Washington was 35,962. Spokane County had the highest net domestic migration (7,481) followed by Pierce County (5,466), and Clark County (4,703). On the other hand, King County had the lowest net domestic migration (-5,122), followed by Yakima County (-1,158), and Whitman County (-148).

Net Domestic Migration for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
