Washington Net Domestic Migration By County in 2012

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2012, the net domestic migration for Washington was 11,986. King County had the highest net domestic migration (11,007) followed by Snohomish County (3,672), and Clark County (1,729). On the other hand, Yakima County had the lowest net domestic migration (-1,886), followed by Kitsap County (-1,625), and Cowlitz County (-846).

Net Domestic Migration for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
