According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2021, the net domestic migration for South Dakota was 6,124. Pennington County had the highest net domestic migration (2,132) followed by Lincoln County (1,988), and Minnehaha County (806). On the other hand, Beadle County had the lowest net domestic migration (-195), followed by Charles Mix County (-185), and Brown County (-167).
