Alaska Hispanic or Latino Population By County in 2014

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, there were 49,104 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Alaska and they represented 6.66% of the total population of Alaska in 2014.

Anchorage Borough had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (26,552), followed by Fairbanks North Star Borough (7,507), and Matanuska-Susitna Borough (4,416). On the other hand, Yakutat City and Borough had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (23), followed by Skagway Borough (42), and Lake and Peninsula Borough (44).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Aleutians East Borough had the highest percentage (13.89%), followed by Aleutians West Borough (13.58%), and Anchorage Borough (8.83%).
