Alaska Hispanic or Latino Population By County in 2012

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 45,121 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Alaska and they represented 6.17% of the total population of Alaska in 2012.

Anchorage Borough had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (24,685), followed by Fairbanks North Star Borough (6,847), and Matanuska-Susitna Borough (3,872). On the other hand, Yakutat City and Borough had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (18), followed by Kusilvak Borough (29), and Bristol Bay Borough (32).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Aleutians West Borough had the highest percentage (13.62%), followed by Aleutians East Borough (12.77%), and Anchorage Borough (8.26%).
